But really the best performance you can get from the quake is with the stock link. It's been design to work with that specified length.

The custom link adds travel but messes up with the travel path, rising rate. The added travel doesn't outperform the stability the stock linkage gives to the bike.

Might be cool to have a custom link but other than that, not worth it at all.

No. but there might be some still floating around on pinkbike members. There hasn't been alot sold to the public though. Mainly team riders that sold it after using it.

Best suggestion: stay with the stock link.

Otherwise you can contact your nearest Marin dealer and order one. But I'm not sure if there is any left for the 2010 season as they will be produced in a very limited production.

No the 135 dropouts were quick release on the older version ('05 to '07 and in '07 you had the choice to upgrade to the maxle) and when the Maxle dropouts came out they switched to the 150X12mm version.

The Wolfridge had the 12X135 but the dropouts do not have the same configuration as the quake and Team DH does.

I'm 6' and fits me alright. Top tube is way larger than any other small / medium frame out there.

Yeah, it's way lighter than the old Team DH which was a single pivot. You are aware that this frame is not the Quake. It's the new Team DH that is going into a very limited production for 2010.

Sorry guys to interrupt. The bike you are talking about is currently named Team DH and it has not yet been announced that it will go into full production. Rumors have been floating around that a 300 limited production frame will be for sell at specific dealers around the globe. But don't be so optimistic as there hasn't been any info regarding this frame going into production for the 2010 lineup. If it does like I said it will be special order and will not be on the Marin catalog and website. If you want anymore info regarding the frame you can contact me on here ( PM me ). I've been riding that frame the whole season and it's just ridiculous how well it works!

It is 1.5. It does come with a headset. Depending on your fork I have two 1.5 headset: 1 that fits 1 1/8 steerer and one 1.5 steerer. So you will not need to buy a new one.

Don't wan't to start an argument but WILDBRIAN think of the manitou X-vert carbon and the manitou dorado both made out of carbon. The X-vert carbon did break very easily but as far as i know, correct me if im wrong, the Dorado is a very stiff fork and break as often as boxxers and fox 40s which are the premium choice for downhill racers around the globe regardless of their rank. Too bad the dorado is tagged with a hefty price.

The complete bike sits up at 38.4 pounds. The swingarm it made out of hydroformed tubing making it bigger with thinner walls. Improves stiffness and reduces weight.
